Science 8:  Today we wrote the Chapter 3 Test.  We also did some measurement work too, including a WS, and prepared for Lab 7-4.  The Volume WS is due Tuesday.

Science 8:  Today we spent some time studying for recall.  We used our 4 anatomy diagrams, and did some self quizzing.  Then we tried some blank anatomy diagrams and filled in as much as we could, and finally we compared with a partner of our choosing.

We did the practice test today, and it is due on Friday.  Our test will be on Monday, and will be on all human body topics after February 23rd.

We also wrote notes on States of Matter, read pg 250 - 253, and did a worksheet which is due Friday too.

Science 8: I collected signed interims today - if you are not receiving an interim at home please email me and I will send you a PDF version:)  [ggale@sd19.bc.ca]  Today we reviewed our Immune System Flippits, and watched this short video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MI-BLaj5nFk . We read pg 112 - 114 and did pg 117 # 2, 7-9 & 14 in sentences.  We also reviewed human circulatory and respiratory system anatomy.  We will have a test on the Immune, Circulatory and Respiratory systems on Friday.
Parent Teachers interviews will be on Thursday from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

Science 8:  Today I collected pg  95 # 1-4, 7-11, 13, 18 (in sentences).  Turn this in on Tuesday morning if you missed Monday's class.  We read page 246-249 and did pg 249 # 1-5 in sentences.

I also handed out an interim report that needs to be signed by your adult.   Term ends on
April 20th, so if necessary there is plenty of time for improvement in work habits, or learning performance.

Parent Teacher interview are on Thursday.

Science 8:  Pg 95 # 1-4, 7-11 and 13 and 18 are due on Monday.  Expect interims on Monday.
